With over 30 years of experience in teaching, Deepa Bhanu Prakash is our most respected senior Indian Classical Dance Instructor. She initially worked as a dance teacher in Regatta Cultural Society, Trivandrum - teaching Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi & Folk-Dance forms. she has taught and inspired students from various countries such as UAE, Oman & India. Currently residing in Sharjah, UAE, she possesses in-depth knowledge of Indian dance forms & heritage and culture.
Ms. Deepa is a disciple of several prominent classical dance artists such as Smt. Girija Chandran, Sri Vempati chinnasathyam, Smt. Mohana Tulasi etc. She has also been tagged as an A-grade artist by Doordarshan and has won several awards for her performance on national and international platforms. A master-choreographer in Indian folk-dance forms & semi-classical dance forms of India, she is specialized in mass performance training and special on-stage performance choreography. As a passionate teacher, she loves children and is well known for her soft speaking, personalized care to each student, and highly patient & positive attitude.
